Moving into my first solo apartment has been the definition of bittersweet. I had been living with my bestie and cried more than the appropriate amount about leaving our old apt and not living together, but was also SO excited about getting to decorate and move into my very own apartment! My style has definitely changed over the years and I wanted this new space to reflect that. My goal was to create something super cozy, clean, with California chill vibes. (Definitely not proper interior design lingo, but you get the gist) Pinterest is always the first place I go for inspiration and to source specific items I have in mind. WELL, HERE IT IS….

A mix of Craigslist scores, World Market treasures, and pieces I’ve been coveting for awhile came together to build my new living room. Some of my favorite touches are the framed prints of some of my own photos and displaying my collections of restaurant matches and shells from Stinson Beach. I also love having all the windows open and letting these linen curtains blow in the sunshine and breeze. Currently waiting for a few finishing touches to arrive, but I have been loving the space already.
