A few of my favorite products that are getting me through this winter.

Face

The Jetlag Mask from Summer Fridays truly lives up to the hype. The formula is light enough to wear under makeup as a primer, but I will also apply a thicker layer and leave on as a super hydrating mask. Now that I am using a retinol at night, my winter dry skin is no joke and this Skin Food from Welda has been the most soothing cream for my face. It is super thick so I would recommend as a night cream or on days when you will not be wearing foundation over.

Year round I love to use a lip scrub and the Sugar Lip Polish from Fresh is my favorite. It quickly scoffs all the dry skin and leaves my pout super smooth. I always follow up with a hydrating balm or chapstick. I got a sample of this Lip Sleeping Mask last year from Sephora and quickly knew I needed the full size. Anyone that uses mine loves it and my mom even requested it for Christmas.

Hair

I feel like it is much easier to extend blow outs in the winter, anyone else? I always sleep with my hair in a loose bun on the top of head and use a silk scrunchie like the ones from Slip. A little touch up with a blow dryer and round brush in the morning brings my blowout back to life. I love to use the Ouai hair oil on my ends and to tame flyaways and those winter wisps.

Body

Although the recommendation is to dry brush for 5-10 minutes before every shower for me it’s more like 1x a week for a solid 60 seconds. Do what you can, right? Although I could greatly improve my dry brushing practice, I definitely notice a difference on days I have done it and my skin feels super smooth even before applying my favorite body oil from One Love Organics. I love to mix my body oil with a standard moisturizer like the Creme de Corps from Kiehls so my skin is left hydrated not sticky.
