Happy hair, happy Mere!

My hair is finally healthy again and no longer brings me to tears. (Actually cried when I saw the first photo below) This was definitely not an overnight transformation and took a lot of patience and variety of products. Sharing the top 4 products that I believe brought my thin, damaged, short hair back to a healthy state. Pictures below were taken 30 days apart starting at the end of January.

My Top 4 Hair Repair Products

Kerastase - Resistance Extentioniste

This was suggested to me by my hair stylist when she could see how upset and frustrated I was that my hair would not grow past a certain length and had become extremely thin and damaged likely from heat, stress, and years of coloring. It involves an in-salon mask treatment that you do once every 4 weeks for 3 months and at home regime that includes: a serum, shampoo, and masque conditioner. I can see a ton of baby hairs at the crown of my head which is all regrowth and where I tended to have the most damage.

OUAI- Thin Hair Supplements

These go out of stock all the time so I would recommend getting on the ‘notify me’ list if you are interested in them. It contains a blend of Biotin, Silica, Ashwagandha, and Amino Acids which all help to reduce breakage, combat hair loss, and promote growth. I ordered the 90-day supply and just started the third pack and can already see how much they helped strengthen my hair and it looks and feels significantly more full.

Bumble and Bumble- Invisible Oil Heat & UV Protective Primer

I use the Kerastase serum mentioned above all over my scalp and massage into the roots of my hair and then use this oil mostly for my ends, but it is lightweight enough to be used all over. It has over 1K 5 star reviews on Sephora and is a really great do it all hair product that claims to: defrizz, detangle, tame, hydrate, soften, moisturize and protect.

Revlon - One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer

I LOVE this thing! Originally featured on my best of Amazon beauty post here. I have used a variety of expensive hair dryers, but swear this one is the best. While it may be because of all the above mentioned products I also think this dryer makes my hair feels super healthy, glossy, and voluminous.

So there you have it, my 4 not so secret weapons that have completely revived my hair. Do you have any can’t live without hair products?

xx
