Just started watching the Netflix series, The Politician which is the latest from Glee writer and producer, Brad Falchuk (aka Mr. Goop aka Gwyneth Paltrow’s new husband). I’m only 2 episodes in, but the comedy/drama follows high school student Payton Hobart (played by Ben Platt) who has known since he was a child that he IS one day going to be the President of the United States. It’s basically Glee without the singing + Riverdale drama + parady of current events.

Have you heard of “greenwashing”? It is a term used to describe the practice of making misleading claims about the environmental benefits of a product, service, technology or company practice. I.e. every label that has a leaf on it to make it appear more “clean” or the nontoxic, but actually toxic nail polish scam that I learned about from this eye-opening article. If you are as curious as me about the “cleanliness” of your products, I recommend using the Think Dirty App that rates products based on their ingredients. The app also has tons of suggestions for truly clean products.

*TLDR: popular nail polish brands are promoting they are free of X amount of toxins when some of the toxins listed are never even used to make nail polish!

Sort of a Listen and a Do, but for my birthday, one of my friends (thank you Jane!) got me a tarot card reading. I had never done anything like that before, but it was truly an incredible experience and as someone who is in the middle of many changes it was extremely inspiring and grounding. I recorded the session and have replayed it a few times and get more out it every time I do.
